Nakia Angelique, LMT
Nakia graduated from SHI Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio in 1998. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness through Antioch Midwest and a certification in Holistic Health Counseling through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. Her training includes neuromuscular therapy, Esalen style massage and deep tissue, Ayurvedic therapies, reflexology and a variety of energetic modalities including Reiki and Reconnective healing.

Nakia has taught anatomy and clinical massage to students at a local career college and she continues to serve as a preceptor to students in SHI’s program. Her approach is inspired by a deep appreciation for the body’s innate intelligence and ability to heal and she uses her tools with a gentle presence.
